Arora Group welcomes GM for new Heathrow T2 hotel

Arora Group has appointed James Street as General Manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2, opening Summer 2019.

Street leads the pre-opening team with over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and joins from Arora Group sister property, Renaissance London Heathrow, where he held the position of Operations Manager since 2015. Prior to this, Street led the team at Holiday Inn London Heathrow T5 as General Manager, following the hotel’s refurbishment in June 2014.

Vincent Madden, Director of Hotel Operations at Arora Group, said, “We are thrilled to welcome James as General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2. I am confident that James’ wealth of experience will guide the hotel’s team to success in line with the Arora Group’s ambition.”.

Street commented, “I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge. As the first Hilton Garden Inn to be added to the Arora Group portfolio, we look forward to delivering the highest levels of service in a hotel situated at Heathrow’s most prime location . I am truly excited and looking forward to the opening of the hotel later this summer.”

Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2 opens this summer and will host 369 guest rooms, 335 sq metres of meeting space, 24-hour fitness centre, two restaurants and sky bar with 360º airport views.

The hotel will be the first to open at Terminal 2 and the only property to directly connect to The Queen’s Terminal via covered walkway. The hotel will be approximately a 5-minute walk from lobby to terminal.
