Sophie Michell joins Byron in newly-created Food & Drink Director role


Casual dining group, Byron has announced that renowned chef and food writer, Sophie Michell will be joining the team as Food & Drink Director.

In this new role, Michell will use her extensive experience as a chef, restauranteur, food writer, and television presenter to develop all of Byron’s food and drink recipes, driving Byron’s menus into an exciting new direction.

Michell joins Byron having worked in professional kitchens for over 20 years, including Executive Chef of Belgraves Hotel and Home House. Michell is also part of the team behind Gorgeous Kitchen at Heathrow Terminal 2.

As well as her success in the kitchen, Michell has forged a career as a food writer and television presenter publishing eight cookbooks and hosting successful TV shows such as Cook Yourself Thin.
