Emily Brightman is the new head chef at Angela Hartnet's Michelin star restaurant, Murano in London's Mayfair.
Brightman joined Murano in January 2017 as Junior Sous Chef having spent three years at Gordon Ramsay’s 3 Michelin Star restaurant, Royal Hospital Road, along with spells at Petrus Restaurant in Knightsbridge and Yauatcha in Soho.
The modern Italian restaurant was opened in August 2008 by Angela Hartnett and Gordon Ramsay. It was purchased outright from Ramsay by Hartnett with the handover taking place in October 2010.
In January 2009, the Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant one star, which has retained since then.
