Plu, offering contemporary French dining, is set to open this month in St John's Wood, London NW8.
The man behind the new 22-cover venture is Elliot Moss, who has previously worked at Le Gavroche. Moss will serve up asingle tasting menu every night using modern French fine dining techniques.
Diners can expect dishes such as The Polished Turd Paradox: Eel Pie, Mash and Liquor, La Soupe: Warhol's Monroe 'Pick and Lick' Gazpacho, 12 year old balsamic 'mastic', 'Sunday Roast' Tartare of Scheckter lamb, herbes fines, galette 'roastie', hazelnut- mint dressing, and Le Salade: Étè 'Pimm's No.1 Cup' aromatics macerated cucumbers, mint 'pearls', baby leaves, orange 'coulis', sorbet 'dressing'.
Also, guests can savour Le Classique: 'Dacquoise' Valrhona, praline, coffee, avocado, balsamic 'syrup', and L'Elixir: Andrew Quady 'Elysium' 2010 lychee, rose, gold
Plu, which is the past tense of the French word 'plaisir', meaning to have pleased/enjoyed, will is also feature an outdoor terrace.
