HMS Host to open two restaurants at Ashford designer outlt complex

HMS Host has secured an extension of its partnership with McArthurGlen, Europe’s leading owner, developer and manager of designer outlets.

This extension of the relationship will see HMS Host open two new restaurants at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford later this year.

Lebanese cuisine restaurant Comptoir Libanais, and a Starbucks coffee shop will both open at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford in October.

Walter Seib, CEO of HMS Host International, said, “We are delighted to announce the further cooperation with McArthurGlen. Outlet shopping locations have shown a tremendous growth. Especially in the UK and we are proud to be part of that success.”

Michiel Reuvers, Group Director of Foodservice at McArthurGlen Group, said, “McArthurGlen welcomes over 90 million guests a year and we constantly review our food & beverage offer to reflect evolving consumer habits.

'By developing a balanced mix of internationally renowned F&B brands combined with iconic domestic operators, we will continue to offer our guests the best shopping experience when they come to visit us.”

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford also houses Europe’s largest living wall installation, which forms part of the centre’s ongoing £90m expansion.

Made up of approximately 120,000 plants, the 25,000 sq ft living wall installation sets out to create a striking atmosphere, with beautiful vertical gardens covering the walls of the new entry promenade, various walkways and many of the new stores.
