£1.6m Bath hotel changes hands

Savills, on behalf of owner Susan Keeling, has sold Tasburgh House hotel in Bath to a private buyer for £1.6m.

The boutique hotel currently provides 15 en-suite bedrooms alongside a bar, dining room and conservatory.

Set in 5.7 acres with a garden that runs alongside the canal, Tasburgh House is located on the east outskirts of Bath’s city centre with views over the city and the surrounding countryside.

Built in 1891, the property was originally the family home of the former Royal Photographer to Queen Victoria.

James Greenslade, associate director in the hotels team at Savills, commented, “Tasburgh House is a successful hotel with a rich history and we are delighted to have been able to secure new owners to deliver the next chapter in its life.”
