Following the successful launch of its third site in Birmingham in January, Chinese restaurant brand, Tattu is set to open a fourth branch in Edinburgh this autumn.
The restaurant will be located in the Mint Building which makes up one half of The Registers - a mixed-use development - on the south-east corner of St Andrew Square.
The restaurant will serve Chinese-inspired cuisine, taking traditional ingredients and classic flavours, combined with new ideas and cooking techniques. The result is a distinctive and contemporary take on the much-loved style of food, with innovative dim sum and delicious sharing plates that encourage an interactive dining experience.
The new outlet will serve up Tattu’s signature dishes like Beef Fillet, Caramel Soy and, Saffron Black Cod.
Dishes launched at the Birmingham site will also be on offer, such as Chilli and Sesame Roasted Scallops served with Chinese sausage, crushed edamame and mint, as well as an Asian Pear Crumble with green apple, almond and a pink custard.

The word Tattu is derived from a combination of ‘Tattoo’ the art form that inspires our stunning interiors and ‘Tatau’ which is an ancient word from eastern culture that means to ‘make a mark’.
