Jockey Club Catering is celebrating an incredible 9 award wins at last week’s National Racecourse Catering Awards held at Ascot Racecourse on Friday 4 October.
The standout racecourse caterers were thrilled to win the prestigious Judges Excellence Award for Newmarket Racecourses and the Small Racecourse Catering Award for Market Rasen Racecourse.
The team also scooped Best Fine Dining Experience for Equus at Sandown Park Racecourse; Best Casual Dining Experience for the Horse & Groom at Cheltenham Racecourse; Best Bar at a Racecourse for the Tiger Roll Bar at Market Rasen Racecourse, and the Best Fast Food Mobile Experience for the Princess Royal at Aintree Racecourse.
In the supplier categories, Jockey Club Catering picked-up Best Local Supplier to a Racecourse for Hook Norton Brewery at Warwick Racecourse; Most Effective Brand at a Racecourse for Moet & Chandon at Newmarket Racecourses, and Best New Catering Product used at a Racecourse for Ribs to Racing at Kempton Park Racecourse.
On a busy evening for Jockey Club Catering team, they were also awarded merits for Cheltenham Racecourse who placed second in the People’s Choice Award, and for the Duck Truck at Newmarket Racecourses for the Best Fast Food Mobile Experience.
The National Racecourse Catering Awards is an annual event which see’s racecourses across the UK join together to celebrate catering achievements throughout the year and reinforces the importance of food and drink in the sporting industry.
