Flagship Soho Coffee Co opens with first carvery & juice bar

Soho Coffee Company has opened its flagship store in Threadneedle Street, London EC2 that comes with unique offers for the brand.

A stone’s throw from the Bank of England, this store offers the chain's first carvery hot meat sandwich menu, a healthy ‘Roots & Fruits’ juice bar and fresh salad bar, alongside the triple certified coffee and famous Soho spuds.

The hot food is customised to order. The new star of the show is the four-step carvery, which offers a choice of wrap, baguette, roasty potatoes, brioche roll or salad alongside the pick of the day’s roasted meats, and a range of home-made condiments and sauces.

The menu includes slow-cooked beef brisket, infused with herbs and slow roasted for 5 hours, juicy pork loin with crackling, and homemade caramelised apple compote.

Add-ons range from roasted red onions, Soho ‘Slaw and Jalapenos to home-made Kickin’ Ketchup and Donkey Sauce. Sides include roasty skin on potatoes, tossed in a cold-pressed herb oil with rosemary & thyme and roasted with garlic.

The new breakfast menu includes the all-American Breakfast: beautiful crispy streaky smoked bacon on buttermilk pancakes with a fried egg and drizzled in pure maple syrup, and vegan coconut milk porridge topped with banana & honey, or fresh fruit compote.

Plant-based foods are an important feature of this offer, with a fully vegetarian salad bar and the brand's first juice bar offering a range of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.

The new store opening comes after the launch of Soho Coffee's second Birmingham Bullring site at the end of August.
