New Chelsea restaurant-deli set to open in January

A new restaurant and delicatessen, Colette is to open on Sloane Stanley's Fulham Road, in the heart of Chelsea, in January 2020.

Colette will span 861 sq ft and offer the very best of home-style cooking from sustainably sourced produce.

Co-founded by Dimitri and Mira Plaquet, Colette’s extensive menu has been devised in collaboration with the team behind multi-Michelin starred Belgian restaurant, La Ville Lorraine.

Chris Hill, formerly the Premier Sous Chef at The Ritz Hotel, will be in charge of the kitchen.

Diners can expect dishes such as Twice-baked cheese soufflé served with poached apricots & walnuts, Seared tuna, pickled turnip & edamame, Confit duck, quinoa & shaved vegetables, and Truffle tortellini with celeriac.

To finish, desserts will include Caramelised apple tart and Paris Brest - a French dessert, made of choux pastry and a praline flavoured cream.

The deli will feature take home dishes such as Beef tartare and home-made scotch eggs, and Salmon & leek terrine

Dimitri Plaquet, who named the site after his grandmother, said, “We are delighted to be making our debut within this beautiful space alongside so many other culinary leaders along the Fulham Road.
