Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland has appointed Daniel Loosley as the new General Manager of one of its three central London hotels, Leonardo Royal London City in EC3.
Loosley has worked within the hotel and hospitality industry for the last 30 years and built a solid and well-respected reputation, working closely with staff to ensure that each and every customer has a comfortable stay.
The highly experienced General Manager started his career at Marriot Hotel where, after four short years, he was promoted to F&B Manager level before progressing to his first General Manager role with Forte Hotels. After five years with Forte Hotels, Daniel developed his career further managing hotels such as Hilton Hotel, Clifden Station House Hotel and the Thistle Hotel.
For the last seven years, Loosley has worked with RBH Hotel Group as General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Reading and Crowne Plaza London Docklands, equipping him with the expertise and experience needed to run a drive Leonardo Royal property in the capital.
Leonardo Royal London City is one of three Leonardo Royal central London properties to be added to the Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland portfolio earlier this year. The hotel, based in the heart of the city, will be undergoing an extensive refurbishment program which will bring a fresh and vibrant new look to the property and will be overseen by Loosley in his new role.
Popular tourist attractions such as Tower of London, The Shard and Borough Market are walking distance from Leonardo Royal London City, which offers 307 spacious bedrooms, one on-site restaurant and two bars, the luxury Rena Spa, fitness club, virtual golf, and 12 meeting and conference suites, making it the perfect base for any trip to London.
