The Flying Standard pub in Coventry has been sold to a private investor for £3.225m in a deal was brokered by property agents Bond Wolfe.
The medieval-style building has a large Wetherspoon pub on the ground floor and two self-contained apartments on the second floor. The site offers 12,170 sq ft, plus a roof terrace of 685 sq ft.
The property sits at the heart of the city centre, occupying a prominent corner position opposite New Buildings, by the pedestrian entrance to the Cathedral Quarter which contains many of Coventry’s most popular tourist attractions, including Coventry Cathedral, St Mary’s Guildhall and Holy Trinity Church.
The Flying Standard also benefits by being well placed for the city’s central shopping quarter, sitting opposite of Primark and West Orchard Shopping Centre.
