Casual Dining Group sells final four La Tascas to new firm

Casual Dining Group (CDG), the operator of some of the UK's favourite restaurant brands, including Bella Italia, Café Rouge and Las Iguanas, has sold the last four sites of Spanish tapas restaurant and cocktail bar brand, La Tasca.

A spokesperson on behalf of CDG said, “The successful sale of these four remaining La Tasca locations enables us to focus investment in our core growth brands of Las Iguanas, Bella Italia, Café Rouge and our Concessions Division.

'We are pleased that our teams’ jobs at these locations have been secured, and we would like to wish them very well, and thank them for their service and dedication.

“Independent Spanish Restaurant Company (ISRC) Ltd, a new company, that has been formed to operate high quality Spanish restaurants in the UK, has completed the first of their acquisitions through the purchase of four La Tasca restaurants, from Casual Dining Group, which includes La Viña Manchester.'
