Halifax tapas restaurant set to become Thai eatery


Ricci’s Tapas & Cicchetti, located in Halifax, West Yorkshire, has been sold through CHristie & Co to experienced operator,Thai Corner.

Ricci’s Tapas & Cicchetti is ideally located in the busy Dean Clough Mill licensed zone just outside of Halifax town centre, which is perfect for the high-volume food and drink trade within Halifax.

New owner, Thai Corner has taken the new lease opportunity adding to its other two busy food outlets in Halifax.

Ratchanee Peacock, owner at Thai Corner, commented, “ We are very excited about the acquisition, the stylish restaurant is now serving fresh Thai cuisine in a stunning location.'

Previous owner Michael Ricci has owned and operated the premises successfully since 2012 on a 10 year term, however he is now looking forward to focusing his energy on Ricci’s Place in Halifax, and other restaurant ventures overseas.

Ricci said, “I’m pleased to have sold the leasehold premises after a busy period in Dean Clough Mill. I can now focus more on Ricci’s Place in Halifax and future plans with my family. A big thank you to Sam Ashton at Christie & Co in introducing experienced operators, Thai Corner.”
