Chaiiwala plans to open 156 sites by 2023 with 3,600 jobs

Street food-style fast casual franchise, Chaiiwala has announced plans to open 156 sites by 2023, creating 3,600 jobs.

The group, which launched in the UK in 2015, currently has 32 outlets across the country and opened its latest site in London's Greenford yesterday.

The brand is known for its chaii, with the most distinctive tea on the menu being the Karak Chaii. This strong tea also known masala chai - a blend of black tea, milk, sugar and spices boiled in a pan on a low flame. It's brewed with the skills of the original tea seller from roadside stalls in the Indian subcontinent, affectionately known as Chaiiwala.

Alongside its range of signature specialist teas and coffees, Chaiiwala serves a number of eats which are given its traditional modern twist such as masala chips, Bombay sandwich, chilli paneer, butter chicken roti, parathas and the brand's very own Indian breakfast.
