Bespoke Hotels, the UK's largest independent hotel group, has chosen sector technology experts Access Hospitality to supply Access Procure Wizard to manage its procurement, following a competitive tender process. The Purchase to Pay (P2P) solution will be implemented across a parcel of 40 hotels recently added to the Bespoke Hotel managed portfolio.
Thomas Greenall, CEO of Bespoke Hotels, explained, “We wanted a P2P solution to provide tight controls across these new hotels, one that had a highly efficient process for purchase order approval.
'With the hospitality and leisure sector facing unparalleled pressures, our wish list also included a system that could create efficiencies in our accounts department, especially by reducing the burden on purchase ledger.
'As we get the hotels established it was also essential for us to have a robust menu costing system and the Access Procure Wizard flash system is the ideal answer to track GP on dishes.'
Greenall continued, “Access Procure Wizard is recognised as the market leader and my previous experience has confirmed that its supplier engagement is industry best practice. Most of our existing suppliers are already registered on Access Procure Wizard and it is important to have their backing, cooperation and confidence.
'The tender process showed that it was more streamlined than some of the newer systems and it will also integrate with our accounting and point of sale technology, which will save us time and enable the team to spend more time on doing what they do best.

The functionality of Access Procure Wizard is shown in the results that Bespoke Hotels expect to achieve by using the technology, targeting an increase of 1.5% in F&B GP, reducing waste by 0.5% and increasing credit capture by 0.5%. The solution will also secure purchasing compliance across the sites to contribute to cost control and provide a strong allergen management process for customer wellbeing.
