Six by Nico has revealed its next menu at Canary Wharf, named New York, taking inspiration from the Big Apple.
Launching on 2 November, and running for the signature six-week period, Chef Nico Simeone has taken inspiration from one of the most exciting and vibrant foodie cities in the world to create his newest innovative dishes.
The New York six-course tasting menu includes:
Beef Burger Doughnuts – Tomato Ketchup, American Mustard
Eggs Benedict – Smoked Ham Terrine, Brown Butter Hollandaise, Quail Egg
Little Italy – Beef Ragu, Saffron Pappardelle, Parmesan Espuma
Clam & Coley Chowder (pictured) – Barbecue Leeks, Lemon Gel, Roasted Corn
Flatiron Building – Smoked Flat Iron Steak, Jerusalem Artichoke, Lovage Emulsion, Brisket Croquette
The Big Apple – New York Cheesecake, Apple Compote, Pecan & Oat Granola
The New York vegetarian six-course tasting menu includes:
Crispy Fried Doughnut – Mushroom, Dill Pickle, Swiss Cheese
Eggs Florentine – Crispy Egg, Tomato Veirge, Baby Spinach
Little Italy – Hazelnut Ragu, Saffron Pappardelle, Egg Yolkk Jam, Crispy Sage
Sweetcorn Chowder – Roasted Corn, Potato Terrine, Squash Dumplings, Lemon Gel
Broadway – Celeriac Risotto, Broad Beans, Whey Emulsion, Burnt Leek
The Big Apple – New York Cheesecake, Pecan & Oat Granola, Lemon Curd
Chef Nico Simeone commented, “New York is a melting pot of culture where different cuisines collide. I love the busy buzziness of the city and the inspiration that can be drawn by it, I see many parallels between New York and London and in particular Canary wharf.
“This new menu brings together some of my favourite flavours and, I feel, is a true representation of one of the greatest cities on earth.”
Diners can book a table now for New York at Six by Nico London Canary Wharf. Open from midday, Monday through to Sunday, each six-course menu will be available from noon to late.
The menu will be priced from £37 per person with the option to enjoy an expertly selected wine pairing for an additional £33 with New York inspired, devilishly delicious, snack sides also available.
Six by Nico has a portfolio of eight sites which includes a second London outlet in Fitzrovia. Menu themes can differ at each restaurant and during the same period, Six by Nico Fitzrovia will showcase a menu inspired by Paris.
