US group to launch first UK site in Mayfair this autumn

US restaurant concept, Sparrow Italia is to launch in London's Mayfair this autumn. The modern coastal Italian concept, originally born in Los Angeles, is designed to transport guests to the enchanting southern European coast.

Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha’s lifestyle hospitality company, Noble 33, known for its ever-evolving lineup of unique, social dining restaurants stateside and abroad, will be partnering with local hospitality veteran, Khaled Dandachi, to bring their first Sparrow Italia concept to London right in the heart of Mayfair.

Noble 33, which is most famous for its management and continued expansion of iconic brands Toca Madera and Casa Madera in the US and Canada, is focused on further expanding the boundaries of high-energy fine-dining.

Sparrow Italia is the newest dining destination to join the Noble 33 portfolio, curating a modern twist on traditional Italian & Mediterranean dishes. The menu highlights fresh seafood, house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas and a selection of classics that exude bold flavours and high-quality, sustainable, and organic ingredients.

The new site opening will be split across three floors, serving 104 covers with a capacity of 189 across all floors: A ground-level lounge & bar, a terrace dining room on the indoor/outdoor first floor, a parlour dining room on the second floor, and a cigar lounge third floor.

The restaurant's design features will include neutral tones with small accents of emerald and blue, with modern light fixtures, and the use of marble, tile insets, and wood, all contributing to the romantic coastal Italian and Mediterranean aesthetic.

Noble 33’s Corporate Executive Chef, AJ McCloud will lead on the menu development, aligned with the brand’s 'mission for better eating' as he produces exceptional menus that exude bold flavours, high-quality and a focus on sustainable ingredients.

The food will be complemented by adventurous mixology that uses fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the finest spirits to craft dynamic cocktails all rooted in the flavours of Italy.

Following the successful launch in Los Angeles, we are confident that it will add something different to London’s vibrant dining scene,” said Mikey.
