The Lillie Langtry to reopen with new menu after revamp

West London pub, The Lillie Langtry will reopen on 5 December with a brand-new look and menu.

Part of The Chapter Collection, which also includes the newly opened Junction Tavern in Kentish Town, The Lillie Langtry encapsulates the next chapter of pubs, elevating the drinking and dining experience to a new level. Food is at the forefront, with a brand-new menu of bold British dishes freshly prepared daily, using seasonal ingredients from local suppliers.

The 262-cover, 2285-square foot venue on Lillie Road in West Brompton will be split across two floors, with a main dining room, a large upstairs private room called the Lillie Lounge, and a small private dining space for 12.

Lillie’s Yard provides two outdoor spaces, at the front of the venue and the back, with heaters and blankets.

Velvet chairs, rich, neutral tones and dark wood panelling will provide a feeling of luxurious comfort, and from above, show-stopping chandeliers add a little glitz n’ glam.

New dishes from the menu include the Steak & Guinness Pie with smoked Cheddar mash and lashings of gravy, or diners can also take advantage of mussel season with juicy Steamed Mussels, and Bovril butter garlic cream, with sourdough and frites.

Come Sunday, The Chapter Family Roast is a great way to bring the family together, with a selection of meats (Rump of Beef, Pork Belly and Chicken), pigs in blankets, smoked cauliflower and leek cheese, roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshires and winter veg.

Classic cocktails have been reimagined to impress even the sternest of critics, alongside carefully selected wines and an impressive draught range spanning from craft beers to local cask ales.

The venue’s signature gin is infused on-site with seasonal flavours by the expert bar team, and the dessert cocktails – including a Sicilian Lemon Meringue Martini – are that perfect ‘something sweet’.
