Buzzworks secures place in top 100 workplace list

Leading Scottish bar and restaurant chain, Buzzworks Holdings has been named in the top ‘100 Best Companies to Work For in the UK,’ list.

The accolade, which celebrates excellence in workplace engagement, has not only ranked Buzzworks as the 77th best company to work for in the UK, but also 16th in Scotland, and 12th in the UK's Leisure and Hospitality industry.

Buzzworks, which has 17 venues across Scotland, has become renowned for its industry-leading staff benefits, including competitive rates, ongoing training and development, career progression, flexible working, and health and wellbeing incentives.

Managing Director Kenny Blair said, “We are delighted to be recognised as one of the best companies to work for, both throughout the UK and in Scotland. We have some of the most talented people in the industry working with us and to be listed for this fantastic achievement is a testament to them.

“It has been an incredible journey for our business to get to this point and as we continue to expand our portfolio of venues, we will ensure Buzzworks remains a fun, fast-paced and people-first employer of choice.'

To win a place on the 100 Best Companies list, businesses must employ at least 250 full-time employees and achieve one of the 100 highest Best Companies Index scores, as voted for by their team members.

Employee wellbeing, great leadership and pride in working for the company were highlighted as the top-scoring factors for Buzzworks.

Kenny continued, “There is no doubt that these scoring factors are as a result of our fantastic benefits, some of which include our annual wellbeing day, financial care package and social and charity events.

“One of our core values is to Grow Forward Together, and we are passionate about ensuring every employee not only has the opportunity for their own development but can also get involved in the future of our business.

'Our quarterly catch-ups encourage our employees to share their ideas and opinions across all aspects of the business to help us achieve our long-term goals.'
