Award-winning Scottish hospitality group, Buzzworks, has appointed JP McKeown as its new Operations Director.
The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership team as it enters the next stage of growth and expansion.
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, JP joins Buzzworks from Stonegate Group, where he oversaw a £160 million portfolio of 150 pubs alongside the company’s group hotel strategy.
A values-driven, people-focused leader, JP has built his career on delivering outstanding guest experiences while driving sustainable growth — qualities that will play a key role as Buzzworks continues to expand its footprint across Scotland.
JP succeeds Alison Blair, who has played a pivotal role in establishing Buzzworks as one of Scotland’s leading hospitality operators.
Recently named Inspirational Woman of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Bar and Pub Awards, Alison will transition into an advisory role, ensuring her expertise and guidance continue to support the business.
