Urban Leisure Group is to launch a new all-day bar and restaurant, Coin Laundry in London's Clerkenwell, this September.
The new outlet - the eighth for the firm - is situated in Exmouth Market and will offer a menu of 'home-from-home' comfort food. Taking inspiration from classic 1970's dishes, the signature dish will be Chicken Kiev, with modern elements of foraged wild garlic and a secret bread-crumb blend added.
Also 1970's inspired, homemade crisps will be served with little packets of seasoning for customers to add themselves.
The cocktail list will offer retro classics like the Grasshopper and the Snowball but with an up-to-date twist. A SodaStream will create a selection of bubbly cocktails and fizzy soft drinks.
Coin Laundry, which is set over two floors, will also host a regular programme of events from book clubs to club nights and pop-up shops.
