New sushi bar for M restaurant in the City

Former Gaucho managing director, Martin Williams is to launch a sushi bar within M restaurant, which opened last December in London's Threadneedle Street in the City.

M's new bar will serve up sushi dishes on small sharing plates of sushi with a focus on quinoa sushi, with fillings such as swordfish and tuna.

The new summer sushi menu has been created by executive chef Michael Reid and head chef Jarad McCarroll, and is set to launch next month.

M is divided into three concepts: M-Raw which serves low fat and low carbohydrate ceviche (pictured); M-Grill which specialises in steak and wine with six cuts of beef from six areas of the globe, and M-Bar which offers a range of cocktails.

Williams plans to open a second M in the West End at the end of this year, with a third planned for 2016.
