Cineworld is to create up to 50 jobs at a new nine-screen cinema due to open at the intu Potteries Centre in Stoke-on-Trent,
The cinema, which includes a Baskin Robbins ice cream parlour, is expected to open in December.
The new cinema is part of the £20m entertainment complex being built next to the intu Potteries Shopping Centre.
The development – to be known as The Hive – will also include top restaurants Nandos, Pizza Express, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Coast to Coast, Chiquito, Frankie & Benny's and Bon Pan Asian.
It comes as intu has also bought the site of the former Place nightclub, in Bryan Street, for future development.
