Bella Cosa opens in Canary Wharf

A new Italian restaurant, Bella Cosa, has opened on the Quayside in Canary Wharf, London.

The 70-seat eatery is spread over two floors, with a central bar, an open-plan view into the kitchen - with Chef's Isle seating - and the main restaurant.

There is also the Wine Room (pictured) for a private dining room for wine-tasting seating up to 16, plus the 20-cover Craft Beer Corner which offers a wide selection of Italian craft beers.

Executive chef Kentaro Torii heads up the kitchen which serves up dishes from the la carte, tasting, and set menus:, as well as those for the bar and for private functions.

Stand out dishes include Grilled Octopus with smoked potato puree, Trapani pesto, olives & celery salad; Five Cheese Ravioli with saffron sauce, beetroot puree, suckling pig cheek & autumn truffle; and Black Cod in prosciutto & baby cuttlefish in black ink with polenta.
