Urban Leisure Group reveals London expansion plans

Urban Leisure Group’s new managing director Adrian Hartley has revealed the group is to expand its London-based chain of bars and restaurants with five new sites opening in six months- followed by a sixth planned for the end of 2016 and a further two in 2017.

The first two sites to open will be the 70/80s themed Coin Laundry in Finsbury’s Exmouth Market, followed by a pizzeria and craft beer bar Heist Bank in the new Merchant Square development in Paddington. Urban Leisure Group will then open a ‘lively cocktail bar with a complementary food offer’ in the former La Brocca Italian restaurant in West Hampstead, in February. It will then open its third Alice House in the Putney Station site, this concept Hartley believes has the potential for further expansion.

Adrian Hartley was appointed MD of Urban Leisure Group in October having served as Operations director for several years. A long with the appointment, the company also announced the opening of its 10th site in West Hampstead at the former La Brocca site.
