Filmore & Union to open 11th site ahead of expansion


Filmore & Union, the Yorkshire based healthy eating cafe and restaurant company is opening a new site in Beverly next year as it begins to expand out of its comfort zone and into Manchester and the north west.

Specialising in wholesome healthy food, Filmore & Union currently operate 10 sites across Yorkshire all of which offer a large menu for people with food allergies and intolerance. Its evening menu is now 100% gluten-free which lots to chose from including meat and fish as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The company also operate a bakery in Wetherby where is produces granola, brownies and other baked goods. All products not baked at the bakery are produced on site.

Founder and owner Adele Ashley told the Hull Daily Mail: “The reason we decided to open our new store in Beverley is because there was already the customer demand for it. We already have lots of customers from the area who visit us at our restaurants in York and Wetherby, so we know there is a good market here.”

The new Beverley site is due to open in February on the former site of the Sugarbird boutique.
