Glenn Roberts takes over as CESA Vice Chairman

Gram UK’s MD Glenn Roberts has accepted the position of CESA vice chairman, taking over from Steve Elliott.

Elliot had to resign from the CESA Council as he stepped down from his role as MD of maintenance provider, Serviceline, at the end of January, following 25 years with the company he helped to found.

CESA chairman Simon Frost commented: “It was very disappointing that Steve had to step down as vice chair, but in Glenn we have a first class replacement.

'Having witnessed Glenn’s input into CESA as a Council member and also with his active participation on the Exhibition Liaison Committee, I know that he will be ideally placed to undertake the role effectively and to support me as chairman.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Steve for his active input and development whilst in the role.

“We anticipate that we will be able to continue to work with him on the proposed development of the CESA educational resources.”

Roberts added: “CESA is the voice of the catering equipment industry. It’s a fantastic entity, not only to communicate these messages but also to influence legislators and implement initiatives that will help us achieve our goals.

'I look forward to this exciting new role and I’d like to thank everyone for the support I have already received.”
