Barrio set to open fourth outlet in Brixton

Barrio is to open a new bar and rum kitchen in London's Brixton this month, which will be the brand's fourth restaurant.

The venue, situated on Acre Lane, will serve up a menu featuring Lima street food like anticuchos, which are spicy skewers of meat.

The bar will offer tequilas, mezcals, piscos and cachacas. Barrio’s Executive chef Ernesto Paiva is working with Salts of the Earth, the drink consultancy behind cocktail bars the Shrub & Shutter and First Aid Box.

Located a short walk from Brixton tube, the ground floor 200-capacity sitewill feature an outdoor space and a vintage caravan.

It will be open 7 days a week and until 2am at the weekends, with live music, entertainment and club nights on weekends.

Barrio operates bar and rum kitchen sites in Soho, Shoreditch and Angel Islington.
