Mackies celebrates deal with Brakes

Mackie's Crisps has today announced it will be launching its product range with one of the Scottish division of the UK's leading foodservice suppliers, Brakes.

Brakes Scotland has already added six of the brand's impulse crisp lines this month, which includes unique Scottish varieties, such as Haggis & Cracked Black Pepper and Flame-grilled Aberdeen Angus. Brakes also plans to launch the group's new range of Mackie's popcorn when it introduces the full impulse range in April.

Mackie's product range will form part of Brakes’ expanding selection of Scottish products as the company increasingly focuses on offering local produce to its customer base, which includes hotels, pubs, schools and care homes.

James Taylor, our Commercial Director, said, “The foodservice sector offers huge potential for our brand and we are delighted to be working with Brakes to grow this market.'

“We applaud Brakes Scotland’s focus on local produce and we are excited for Mackie’s Crisps and Popcorn to form a core part of their regional product offering.”
