North Yorkshire inn to reopen after £1m revamp with new F&D concept

The Kings Head in Richmond is set to reopen on Friday 24 June following over £1m of refurbishment by its new owner, Coaching Inn Group.

Dating back nearly 300 years, the Kings Head, has been closed for eight weeks as it underwent the refurbishment, which has included a sympathetic renovation of its restaurant, bar and accommodation.

When the venue reopens it will debut the new Eatery & Coffee House concept, including a delicious new all-day menu featuring popular sharers, locally-sourced produce and an exciting new hot and cold drinks offering.

General Manager, Fred Oxlade, said, “The aim of the work was to give this historic coaching inn a new lease of life, whilst maintaining its Georgian architecture. We’re delighted with the outcome and can’t wait to show off our fresh new look and introduce our new Eatery and Coffee House to the local community.'
