Legacy Hotels & Resorts has taken over the management contract of Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel in Bishop’s Stortford, and is to prepare the business for sale over the coming months.
Legacy intends to regain the hotel’s reputation as a leading wedding, conference and banqueting venue before finding a new owner for the property.
The 29-bedroom, four-star hotel, which has experienced a challenging few years, has an additional 18 bedrooms that are currently not traded.
Legacy currently operates 31 sites across the country. In addition to the managed hotels they also have a collection of Associate and Affiliate hotels. These hotels are all privately owned and managed but have chosen to join the wider Legacy family.
