PizzaExpress is to expand its chain of 17 Firezza gourmet pizza outlets with new sites in Egham, Exeter, Hampstead, Reading, Staines and Trowbridge.
The new Exeter Firezza, which will be situated in Sidwell Street, will be the first site to open outside of the capital.
The menu includes the option for diners to create their own Firezza pizza, or customise an existing pizza from the Firezza range of ingredients.
Firezza, which Pizza Express acquired in February, launched with restaurants in Chelsea and Battersea in 2001.
The brand earned five PAPA (Pizza Pasta and Italian Food Association) industry awards between 2009 and 2013.
