The Cinnamon Collection has announced the launch of a new concept eatery and bar, Cinnamon Bazaar, following the group’s acquisition by Boparan Restaurant earlier this year.
Cinnamon Bazaar offers an accessible and relaxed all-day concept, serving modern Indian food with global influences. Opening in Covent Garden’s Maiden Lane at the end of November, the restaurant on two floors will operate for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as cocktails and light bites.
The 90-cover, 3,100 sq ft restaurant will have an average of spend of £20 per head and a much bigger bar operation than its sister restaurants. The venue offers a feature bar on the ground floor and a 30-cover private dining room on the first floor.
Breakfast dishes include traditional parathas, whilst small plates of Kolkata spiced cod and Indo-Chinese stir-fried chicken with chilies are options for lunch or snacks.
Larger plates such as chargrilled Chettinad lamb or Kerala boatman-style smoked haddock curry will also feature alongside Vivek’s quirky take on Afternoon Tea – High Chai.
The bar will offer infused cocktails with a focus on gin and botanicals alongside non-alcoholic options such as lassis.

The Cinnamon Collection, which includes modern Indian restaurants The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho, has ambitious plans to roll out the Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Bazaar brands in London and the South East.
Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden will be open Monday – Saturday, 9am – midnight, and 10am – 11pm on Sunday.
