Five new indie brands revealed for Circus West Village

New restaurants have signed up to open at the first phase of the Battersea Power Station £9bn regeneration project, Circus West Village. Only independent brands are welcome in an effort to sustain a warm, village feel.

The new additions will open this summer and include Mother, an Italian pizza restaurant from Copenhagen’s meatpacking district, seafood restaurant Wright Brothers, Dodd’s Gin, Ben’s Canteen which specialises in burgers and wine, and specialist in seasonal and simple cooking, Duckroad.

Rob Tincknell, CEO of the Battersea Power Station Development Company, said, 'Creating a new cultural and food quarter for London as part of the £9 billion redevelopment of Battersea is an exciting challenge.

'We are striving to deliver the best mix of independent, authentic and fun British and international operators - an extension of the existing local community, a place for people to visit, be entertained, try something new, work and live.'
