Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions wins deal with Heron & Brearley


Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions has won a prestigious new contract to be the exclusive coffee partner to the Heron & Brearley (H&B) estate of pubs and bars on the Isle of Man.

The contract also includes distribution of the coffee range within H&B’s convenience stores on the Island, as well as their Market Town Tavern pub retailing estate in the UK.

Melitta has over 100 years’ experience within coffee and this exciting new partnership with H&B marks a new standard for coffee on the island. With a dedicated Melitta training program for its baristas and a full launch support package to help drive footfall during traditionally quieter times of the day, the move to Melitta is well timed to coincide with extended opening hours across the estate.

The Melitta coffee range, which has been blended specifically to the UK palate, includes:
Espresso Samba – a blend of 100% Arabica coffee beans sourced from some of the most sought after regions within Brazil.

Espresso Blend – a characteristic blend allows the Robusta to combine beautifully with the Arabica to produce a balanced, yet full bodied taste profile.

Espresso Nature – 100% Arabica coffee which delivers on quality of taste as well as quality of care as it’s also 100% from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

The launch is set for this month with marketing activity to support the roll-out of the new coffee including special promotional offers, local press coverage and bespoke activity around the famous Isle of Man TT race fortnight in May and June this year.
