Wrexham-based Wholebake is planning to build a £14m 13,000 sq m snack bar factory in Corwen, with the creation of 250 jobs.
The firm aims to construct the state-of-the-art premises at Ty’n-y-Llidiart Industrial Estate, Clawdd Poncen, Corwen.
Wholebake has expanded rapidly in recent years from its bases in Corwen and Wrexham thanks to the success of its popular healthy bars like 9BAR.
Demand from potential customers to manufacture the bars is currently so high they are turning down four out of five requests.
