KFF wins £6m deal with ferry company

Aylesford-based food wholesaler Kent Frozen Foods (KFF) has scooped its largest deal to date with ferry company DFDS, worth £6m a year.

The new contract - the length of which is undisclosed - will see KFF serve five million passengers and crew on routes from Dover to Calais and Dunkirk.

The wholesaler will deliver 650 tonnes of fresh mushrooms and 6,000 tonnes of chips and potato products alongside other fruits, vegetables and fresh meat.

Over the past five years, KFF has grown through investing in its sales teams and developing its range of produce to include chilled and room-temperature foods.

The company has over 4,000 customers across the South and the Midlands.
