UK Aramark sees turnover fall as pre-tax profit leaps by 61%


Aramark in the UK, which covers England, Wales and Scotland, has posted results for the year to 30 September 2016 .

The company saw a 6% fall in turnover to £288.7m from £308.2m the previous year. However, Aramark also saw a 61% uplift in pre-tax profit to £6.6m, up from £4.1m in the previous year.

During the period, chief executive Andrew Main, who had been at the company since 1994, resigned, as did the chief financial officer, Desmond Doyle.

Aramark provides catering, facilities and uniform services to hospitals, universities, school districts, stadiums and other businesses around the world.
