All Bar One embraces New Year with new vegan menu

For all those committed to taking part in this year’s Veganuary, All Bar One has today announced that it has worked with the global charity ‘Veganuary’ for a second year running to offer a new vegan menu. The menu is perfect for guests who are embarking on their journey towards a vegan lifestyle, or simply looking for a different option when eating out.

With vegan dishes accounting for around 7% of all meals sold at All Bar One, the popularity of meat-free dishes is evident. All Bar One believes that life is all about balance, and that it’s more important than ever for bars and restaurants to offer healthy options and more choice when eating out, which is why its vegan range has been extended. All Bar One worked with a nutritionist to ensure the menu has a variety of flavoursome dishes to choose from.

Matthew Glover, co-founder of Veganuary, said, “We’re delighted to be working with All Bar One again, and it’s great to see that even more new and exciting dishes have been added to the menu! Veganism is a lifestyle choice, and Veganaury showcases the benefits of this, and to have companies like All Bar One getting involved and supporting the charity is amazing.”

Caitlin Young, assistant marketing manager of All Bar One, said, “Veganism has quickly become one of the top culinary trends, and shows no signs of abating. With trends moving from faddy diets to healthier long-term lifestyle choices, it’s no surprise that Veganism and Flexitarianism are becoming more mainstream and popular.

“It may seem hard to make a sudden switch away from meat, however with movements such as #MeatFreeMonday and #Veganuary2018, it’s easier than ever to get a taste of an alternative food lifestyle.”

Not only has All Bar One got some fabulous tapas and main dishes including chilli non carne tacos, supergreen laksa and lentil & cashew dahl, but also has some tasty desserts for guests to indulge in, like coconut & vanilla rice pudding and raspberry sorbet.

Food itself does not make a meal, so for those looking to accompany their vegan dish with a glass of something special, guests can choose from a glass of Not Your Grandma’s Riesling, Velvet Devil Merlot or for an alternative to alcohol, can try out one of its Seedlip Twists, all of which are suitable for a vegan lifestyle.

The Seedlip Spice Twist brings back that warm festive feeling with a combination of nutmeg, cloves & grapefruit paired with Fever-tree Ginger beer, orange & rosemary.

For those ready to say goodbye to the cold winter months, the Seedlip Garden Twist combines clean, fresh herbal flavours with blends of home-grown hay & sweet peas and is paired with Fever-tree Elderflower tonic, cucumber and fresh mint.
