Crown Partnership merges Dayer’s into service portfolio

Retail, event and venue catering services provider, Crown Partnership has announced the successful merger of Dayer’s into its service portfolio.

Dayer’s join Crown Partnership’s extended family and brings with them a wealth of experience as a well-respected and established specialist retail caterer providing high quality catering for workplace cafes, coffee bars and staff restaurants in Hampshire.

Dayer’s will continue to be run by Dawn Wright who established the company back in 2001 with her first ever site in Basingstoke. The recently refurbished Matrix House office complex in Basingstoke features a cafe operated by Dayer's (pictured).

The merger extends the reach of the Partnership within the business and industry sector as Dayer’s already operates 25 sites across the home counties, employing 75 staff and providing fresh, nutritious and healthy eating for clients at work.

Dayer's exclusive £2m-plus portfolio of clients includes BNP Paribas, TaylorMade Golf and London Arriva. Dayer’s ability to offer a personalised and tailored catering experience has led to their success and is a key ingredient of recent contract wins against strong B&I catering competition.

Dawn Wright, Managing Director of Dayer’s, said, “This is a very exciting time for Dayer’s. We are delighted to join Crown Partnership and benefit from the wealth of knowledge and expertise that the Partnership brings. It feels a very natural fit as we continue to grow the Dayer’s brand, ‘a modern, high quality catering solution for the working week.’”

Charles Beer, Senior Partner at Crown Partnership, commented, “When we first met Dawn we knew there was a fantastic match in terms of an entrepreneurial approach to delivering service solutions. We love their drive and enthusiasm and passion for customer service, so it feels the right fit for Dawn and her team to join the Partnership.”
