TRG Concessions launches Spuntino at Heathrow T3

Spuntino has just opened its doors at Heathrow Terminal 3 and is the first project between Polpo restaurateurs, Richard Beatty and Russell Norman and TRG Concession, since signing an exclusive franchise partnership agreement early in 2018.

Spuntino, which means ‘snack’ in Italian, has developed a bespoke airport breakfast and takeaway menu to deliver an ‘all day dining’ and ‘on board’ experience for many of the 18 million passengers who travel through Terminal 3 each year.

The restaurant serves up an indulgent menu of classic Spuntino staples alongside newly developed breakfast, children’s and takeaway menus.

For breakfast, expect to see delicious comfort food in the form of Truffled Egg Toast, Denver Omelette, and the Proper English Breakfast, which is also available as an all-day option. Spuntino’s famous Mac’n’cheese is also joined by a vegan Spicy Jackfruit burger, and Salami, caper and chilli pizza on the main menu.

For little ones, a dedicated children’s menu includes breakfast and all day options at just £5.95 for a main dish and a drink, including Fluffy pancakes with seasonal fruit, a Classic hamburger, and Little Ceasar salad.

Spuntino will also serve up a selection of craft beers, wines and spirits alongside their signature cocktails including the New York Sour, Spuntino Bloody Mary and The Ted Damson, a blend of Wybrowa vodka, Sipsmith sloe gin, lemon and rhubarb bitters.

Signature features of the new restaurant include a donut machine, roller skating hosts and an original mural painted by famed Soho artist Neal Fox.

Beatty said, “Spuntino has always been about delicious plates of comfort cooking with great drinks and proper hospitality. We are beyond delighted to be bringing our cult restaurant to Heathrow.

'Expect hearty breakfasts, legendary burgers, mac n cheese and lots of doughnuts! We are also fortunate enough to be able to premiere Neal Fox’s site-specific mural, the first of its kind in an airport restaurant.”

Nick Ayerst, Managing Director of TRG Concessions, said, “We are so excited Spuntino is now open. Working with Russell and Richard on this project has been a fantastic experience.

'The passengers at Heathrow Terminal 3 are in for something completely different. Spuntino is authentic and offers the terminal a magnetic point of difference. It is truly a unique dining experience.”
