Brakes launches two gluten-free & vegan desserts


The leading UK food wholesaler, Brakes has launched two gluten-free and vegan desserts to help caterers to meet the demand for alternative choices.

The Brakes Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate Orange Dessert promises an unbeatable flavour combination. A rich chocolate brownie base is topped with a chocolate filling and a tangy orange sauce, decorated with chocolate crumb. Pre-cut into generous slices, the dessert serves 14.

The larger Brakes Gluten Free Vegan Blackcurrant Dessert (pictured) is pre-cut into 24 portions. This time the biscuit base is topped with an indulgent blackcurrant mousse, and finished with a clear glaze.

While both desserts cater for gluten-free and vegan diets, they will also have great all-round appeal, making them a quick and convenient menu addition.
