Shepherd Neame invests £250k in Kent pub revamp

Work has begun on a £250k transformation of The Vine Inn, Tenterden in Kent.

The Shepherd Neame pub, situated in the market town’s High Street, closed on Tuesday, 23 April, and is expected to reopen at the end of May.

The project will include redecorating throughout, including new lighting, décor and furniture. A new bar is being installed, and the layout of the pub will be changed to create an open kitchen and a new dining area.

The rear garden is being repaved and new furniture will be installed. The building is also being repainted and bespoke new signage and lighting added.

Shepherd Neame director of retail and tenanted operations, Nigel Bunting said, “We are delighted to announce this significant investment in The Vine. It is a fantastic pub in a great location and we hope that this refurbishment project will enable it to continue to go from strength to strength.”
