KFC to open Waterloo branch

KFC has completed its deal to open a brand new site at Waterloo, London SE1, via CDG Leisure.

The advisory firm secured a c.2,000 sq ft premises at the former site of steak restaurant Black and Blue, on Mepham Street, to facilitate Black and Blue’s expansion into a larger space next door.

The branch will offer grab and go and sit-down options for commuters from the main entrance and another serving hatch facing Tenison Way.

Emma Wright, CDG Leisure, who brokered the deal on behalf of Black and Blue, said, “This is a great result for both brands and shows that KFC is going from strength to strength.

'This is the perfect location for the company, offering the popular fried chicken to thousands of people travelling to and from the station every day.'
