Central England Co-operative has today announced that Paul Dennis has joined the business as the Society’s Head of Food Retail.
Paul previously worked as Head of Operations at the Society and re-joins the retailer after holding senior leadership positions with Conviviality Retail PLC, My Local Convenience Group and, most recently, as Retail Director at Motor Fuel Group Limited.
The new role will see Dennis leading the Retail Operations and Store colleague teams across the retail portfolio of over 260 food stores and petrol stations across 16 counties. He will also take responsibility for the Retail Store proposition and Distribution depots for the Society.
Dennis said, “I’m delighted to be returning to Central England Co-op and I am looking forward to combining my industry retail experience and former knowledge of the Society to help drive our current and future success as well as supporting plans for continued growth and store development.
“I’m especially looking forward to working alongside our amazing store colleagues again and working with the brilliant central teams to shape the continued success of our great customer offer.”
