Sainsbury’s to launch no-alcohol pub pop-up

Sainsbury’s is to launch a non-alcoholic pub pop-up at The Old Crown in London's Holborn on 24 and 25 July, named The Clean Vic.

The drinks, which will be a maximum of 0.5 ABV, will include Celtic Soul - a no-alcohol version of whisky, as well as beers, mocktails and low-alcohol wines.

Sainsbury's product buyer Anne Cooper said, “With an increasing number of products available, those who want to hold off on alcoholic beverages don’t need to miss out on the experience of enjoying a beer with friends or a mocktail.”

This is a ticketed event and guests will pay £5.00 to gain entry, and get two drinks, from a selection of over 20 alcohol-free beverages and two bar snacks included.

Bar nibbles will include Corner Pop Crisps, Brave Roasted Peas and Serious Pig snacks.

The Clean Vic will also be offering masterclasses on how to create low/no alcohol cocktails, plus there will be beer tasting sessions too for an extra fee.
