New head chef for Frenchie Covent Garden

Frenchie Covent Garden has welcomed Marcus Rohlen, who has joined the restaurant as Head Chef, overseeing the kitchens at the London post of Gregory Marchand’s brand.

Since starting his career in Sweden in 2006, Rohlen worked as Demi Chef to Partie at Richard Corrigan’s Michelin-starred restaurant Lindsay House and renowned restaurant Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill in Mayfair, before moving to Jason Atherton’s Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social.

In 2016, Rohlen was promoted within the group to Head Chef of another Atherton site, Social Wine and Tapas. He oversaw a brigade of around 10 chefs, while running the kitchen and contributing to menu creation. In November 2018, Rohlen helped to launch Jason Atherton’s King’s Social House in St Moritz, Switzerland, where he worked for 6 months until April 2019.

Bright cousin of the Parisian original, Frenchie Covent Garden serves up globally influenced French fare and drinks to match.
