Having first flagged this up in 2018, it looks like Eataly's first UK site is set to launch this year in London EC2.
This will be the debut of the largest Italian marketplace in the world. 42,000 sq ft of great food and drink, making it the largest stand-alone food hall in the country.
The Bishopgate food hall will offer a selection of the best Italian products, restaurants, bars, quick services, exciting on-site production laboratories, and a cooking school.
Accessible from both Bishopsgate and Exchange Square, Eataly will set the tone for Broadgate as a world-class retail and dining destination.
