Social Pantry to host inaugural Employee Wellbeing Summit

Social Pantry, the London-based Catering & Hospitality business founded by Alex Head, has announced an inaugural Employee Wellbeing Summit, taking place on Thursday 6th February, in Marylebone.

The event, which is completely free of charge, will bring together a panel of experts and leaders, all of whom are highly recognised in their respective fields. The panel will be chaired by Head.

The speakers will include:
Wellness Business Consultant and Elite Performance Coach, Harry Jameson
PerkBox & Mintago Co-Founder, Chieu Cao
Press London Founder, Ed Foy

The format of the summit, primarily seeking to attract HR managers, PA’s and EA’s, will involve an introduction by Head, a one-hour panel discussion around various topics of employee wellbeing, followed by an opportunity for questions and networking.

The wide-ranging expertise of the panel will also mean it is relevant and applicable to anyone interested in the happiness, development and retention of their team, whether that is 10 or 1,000+ people.

London’s average staff turnover currently stands at 15% - with 70% of the City’s workforce reporting they feel stressed at work. This has forced employee wellbeing – mental, physical, and emotional – to rise to the top of the corporate agenda.

Leading tech and entrepreneurial businesses such as WeWork, Google and Facebook have been widely credited for spearheading new initiatives, with more traditional firms and organisations now following suit.

As one of London’s go-to corporate caterers, Social Pantry has witnessed first-hand the positive impact that even small changes, such as Friday team lunches, can have on the overall happiness of individuals. Last year, Head was invited by London Mayor, Sadiq Kahn to discuss the topic of how London can support businesses to make a stronger social impact.

By bringing together this carefully selected panel, all of whom share a common philosophy that the wellbeing of staff results in a more productive workplace, and therefore a better business, the summit will aim to offer expert and practical guidance to those attending.

The Employee Wellbeing Summit, hosted by Social Pantry, will take place on Thursday 6 February, 5.30-8pm, at Carousel Spaces, 35 Baker Street, Marylebone, W1U 8EN

Tickets are free of charge, but guests must pre-register their attendance via: https://socialpantry.co.uk/blog/employee-wellbeing-summit/

All tickets include access to the panel discussion and talk, networking, food and drinks by Social Pantry, and a goodie bag.
